Overview_
Business ID is a unique number created by Enformion for a business record. A single business may have multiple Business ID’s associated with it, reflected in multiple records. Each record and Business ID could correspond to the same business that has been registered in multiple states or a business that has transformed (e.g., been acquired to changed from a “LLC” to a “S-Corp’).
Searching by Business ID will bring up the corresponding record for the business which will contain the essentially information for the entity in question, including legal business name, address, state of incorporation and other details typical from a secretary of state filing. The Business ID search only returns exact matches.
